Tonight I went with my godson and his mother to Sant Ambroeus. Over dinner I said to my godson: “Your mother and I have been coming to this place since 1997.”
He was more interested in his pasta than in the history of Sant Ambroeus.
On the plane from Paris to New York he said to me: “I’d like to see some women naked.”
Then he asked me: “Who are the women you want to see naked?”
I asked his mother: “Do you know about this?”
“No,” she said. “This is the first time I hear this.”

Anyhow, Margulie's book seemed to me important in 2007. Now more than two years later the the urgency of this book seemed to have waned slightly.
I reached the conclusion that subsidizing a new Dutch translation of Kleist was more important.
