Beaches

Limits

Tonight I saw the movie “The Beaches of Agnes”, a documentary by Agnès Varda. Her movie “Sans Toit Ni Loi” is my favorite movie about the limits of freedom.
In this documentary about her own life Agnès Varda sometimes reminded me of Ewa Mehl, a Polish sculptor in Amsterdam, who was one of the first people to take my writings seriously.
“The Beaches of Agnes” beautifully shows that true irony is a higher form of melancholy.

The movie ‘Sans Toit Ni Loi’, made an impression on me too. It made me think again about ‘Ni Dieu, Ni Maître’, our ideal of the sixties-seventies.
That must be the slowest loading trailer I have ever seen.

That must have been your connection, I didn't have any trouble.

That must the same Ewa who tried to make you man.. How did see try that, or is that to personal?
edit?
The absence of an 'edit' option on this blog is getting a little bit frustrating.. Is it a deliberate choice to leave it out? Without the typo's:

'That must the same Ewa who tried to make you a man.. How did she try that, or is that too personal?'

FYI I never had sex with Ewa.
This fall a book will be published in the US with an essay of mine about (among other people) Ewa Mehl.
For all technical questions regarding this site I refer you to the designer Sander Voerman.
I wasn't necissarily talking about sex. Thinking about it, I seriously doubt whether any form of sex could make you 'a man'. Apart from that, these essays, they won't be published in Holland?

Currently there are no plans to publish this essay in Dutch.
Some people will argue that fist-fucking makes you a man.
