Mister Grunberg - what massage would you recommend might stop a persistent eye twitch (eyelid, that is to say)?

At Băile Herculane there is a spring with water that is supposedly very good for the eyes. I saw lots of people sprinkling this water on their eyes. I recommend you travel to Băile Herculane at your earliest convenience.

Sirens

The picture reminds me of the three sirens, singing to seduce and then rob men in 'O Brother where art thou' from the Coen Brothers.
For a while, two main characters also believe they've turned their friend into a toad, which turns out to be not true. (Thankfully, because the toad has by then been smashed dead against a tree by John Goodman, wearing an eyepad and being quitte tall, looking somehwat like a cyclops). This cyclops appears later in the movie to be a member of the Klu Klux Clan, illustrating that the Coen brothers' adaptation of the Odyssee is pretty loose.

On a different note: Eyelid twitching usually disappears without treatment. In the meantime, the following steps may help:

Get more sleep.
Drink less caffeine.
Lubricate your eyes with eye drops.

Call your primary care doctor or eye doctor (ophthalmologist) if:

Eyelid twitching does not go away within 1 week
Twitching completely closes your eyelid
Twitching involves other parts of your face
You have redness, swelling, or a discharge from your eye
Your upper eyelid is drooping

Or you could ofcourse follow Mr Grunberg's advice and go to Rumania.

Mister Grunberg, thank you for you recommendation, I think I might try it in the near future, however most likely not in time to meet you there. M. Hordijk, thank you for your concern. It would seem the eye-twitch is here to stay. But luckily, there apparently is Baile Herculane.

Tabatha, I get a twitching eye too sometimes. It happens when I don't pay attention to being tired for a prolonged period of time.
Extra sleep always fixes this problem. I didn't know this before, but now I follow the sign... eye twitch = go to sleep like a bebe. It works.
