After lunch

Long Island

A friend of mine has a house on Long Island. This morning we drove out to this house near the sea. After lunch we went kayaking in the bay. It was a beautiful experience. I hadn’t kayaked since the late eighties.

@Mieke : Are you still on track to achieve this dream?

I once kayaked in a creek at the keys around Miami, famous among other things for his alligators and under some bushes suddenly a spider felt into our boat, I panicked and stood up, try to stamp on it and made almost our kayak sink or capsize, while my love kept screaming 'beware of the alligators, beware of the f**king alligators, you might kill us', afterwards very hilarious.
