I had dinner at home, as always, accompanied with the sounds of the Hafentunnel rave across the street. At 1 a.m. a guy started mooing right under my window, at 4 a.m. a girl threw a temper tantrum at the same place. She knocked the stuffing out of her boyfriend who had sneaked off to take drugs in his car. In between several people just screamed and shouted randomly. Excellent night, as well.

San Francisco

There has been a great party for years in San Francisco on a early wednesday evening. It's crazy... people leave their work and go to QOÖL at 111 Minna Street @ Second Street from 5 pm to 10 pm. It's always busy and fun. I once saw a line of people two blocks round the corner to get in at 5 pm in the afternoon.
San Fran is great anyway. I loved it very much. I stayed in Sausalito and would take the cruiser bike on the ferry to the city. Uphill towards Haight Street was a challenge that almost killed me but downhill to catch the ferry back was the ride of my life.

If you can, go to Vancouver Island, do some killer whale watching and take a boat for the Inside Passage, I once did a house exchange with someone living on this marvelous island.
