Halfway between Posadas and Puerto Iguazú in the small village of Monte Carlo there is a restaurant near route 12 with the name of Las Palmeras.
The owner of Las Palmeras is a German lady called Norma Ester Krüger. Her accent betrayed her German heritage.
What’s a German lady doing in the middle of Argentina with a restaurant near the highway? The specialty at Las Palmeras is grilled chicken.
I haven’t read a newspaper for five days and I miss the physical newspaper as my own child.
Waiting for a miracle I stopped shaving. My beard is a small disaster. But that’s a good sign. If the gods are on your side they send you small disasters.

What's anyone doing in a country that isn't its own? What are accents telling that they shouldn't? Is that book on the picture moist?
I have never understood the use of a beard. Everything our genes have created, have a meaning. But a beard, only for men. I find that quite strange. 80% of bodyheat is lost through the skin on our heads, the scalpskin is very thin and has a lot of arteries. But the cheek has a lot of fat and other tissue, and thus a lesser loss of warmth.
I once read this article about the beard. And how it said something about you and your future. People believe they can see the future in everything.
A not well develloped beard (like Che Guevara had) would mean that you didn't feel like you belonged in this world and that you would mean a great deal for the future.
I like to shave my beard in a nondevelloped kind of shape.
