Tonight was the presentation of the Romanian translation of my story about the quest of a group of American men for a Ukrainian bride.
I had to think of one of the last e-mails I got from the marriage agency in Arizona:

“I hope everyone is enjoying a great holiday season. I just wanted to write a quick thank you note to all of you who were on the tour with me, I really enjoyed the trip and the opportunity to meet and work with all of you. I have been on a lot of these tours and I have to tell you that our December group was one of the best that I can recall! You all treated the women and each other with respect and had a lot of fun during the process. We had quite a few engagements and many others who met women they are very interested in so all in all I would say it was a very successful tour.

We have uploaded some of the photos that were taken during the trip and some of you had given me some of your own photos that are up there as well. I did my best not to include anyone who did not want to be included so if you see anything that you are not comfortable with please just let me know and we will take care of it. You can see the photos here

Again, I really want to thank all of you for giving A Foreign Affair, and me personally, the opportunity to assist you in what I think is the most important search you will ever conduct in your lifetime. If we can do anything for you in the future please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank You,”

After the presentation I went out for dinner with the Romanian translator of my novel “Blue Mondays” and a few of her friends.
It was a beautiful evening.

I went to see an improvisational theatre group last night with some friends. During the performance I discovered that one of my friends doesn't like it when my leg brushes against hers. I did it on purpose afterwards just to make her shudder and squeal. She doesn't mind, if I touch her breasts, though.

These pictures are great! As far as I can see you're only to be seen on the 'group photograph'.
Jan
No, Arnon is also to be seen here: http://www.loveme.com/tour/photos/Ukraine-women_12-2008/odessa-women-12-08-0081.html :D

There are quite some photo's of Tania and Natasha though. Arnon have you sent them this link?
Thanks, I see you made a study of it ;)
This picture won't do for a passport.

I can`t believe that you was here in Bucharest and I didn't know about it ... I visit your blog quite frequently and I really like your writings, and exactly when you come here, I forget to check on your blog ..this is just so typical of me..
Why don't you RSS your Calendar too? It could be helpful.
Eniko
I'll ask Sander.

We really enjoyed your company in Bucharest. M and I felt that the "S" subject might have been more than just a joke for you, we do apologize for that. M is an admirer of your work and very happy to meet you, but at the same time a shy and quiet person.
Eniko
C'est fait. I will add this to calendar items, but this is the calendar RSS feed you want:

The e-mail address of M doesn't work.
The "S" subject?
"S" stands for "socialism", "sex", or "steamboat"?
Are you still available as a manager?
Arnon
"Steamboat". But if you were not sure what was the "s" subject, it means it was only a joke. I'm glad to hear that.
Clara
The secret service is never a joke.
How is my friend A?
