Sorrentino

The movie “Le conseguenze dell'amore” (“The consequences of love”) by Paolo Sorrentino is one my favorite movies. I recently saw it for the third time. “Le consueguenze dell’amore” is situated in the Swiss city of Lugano.
In honor of Paolo Sorrentino and this movie I traveled to Lugano.
As the French writer Patrick Modiano showed in one of his novels there’s nothing better than a seaside resort in wintertime.

Middle-aged couples linking arms with each other on the promenades. In cagoules. Grimassing against the wind while trying to hide most of their heads between their shoulders. Beautiful beautiful seaside resorts.
