Worst thing

Best sex

Jeffrey Toobin writes a balanced article in The New Yorker about Polanski: “Shortly after Polanski’s Oscar nomination, Paramount acquired the rights to Ira Levin’s book ‘Rosemary’s Baby,’ a satanic thriller. After Polanski rejected Bart’s initial requests that he direct the movie version, Bart asked his boss at Paramount, Robert Evans, to intervene. ‘Bob called up Roman, and said, “What have you got to lose? If you come to L.A., the worst thing that can happen is that you are going to have the best sex of your life.” Roman said, “I’ll be there.”’”

Your book / my article
Dear Mr Grundberg,

I've written an article on the Jewish Messiah. It has been published last night at World Mysteries.

http://www.world-mysteries.com/PhilipGardiner/forbidden_letters_50.htm

Don't know what you reaction could possibly be. Check out the links in part 1 carefully, as well as the Forbidden Letters.

Best wishes,
Rene Loman
Polanski
a shame for intellectual people.... Think of the petition that people like Paul Auster, Scorcese, Fatih Akin, Tilda Swinton , Cohen ,
brothers,Tom Tykwer,Jeane Moreau, Isabelle Adjani, Bernado Bertolucci etc etc have signed.
Hard to believe that these people want to prevent Polanski from punishment for the rapture of a 13 year old girl. What a disgusting morality!
Loman
Grunberg not Grundberg.
Loki G
Please read the complete article before you are climbing on your moral high horse.
I hate to do this but I could not resist the temptation:
Rapture
rapture |rap ch r|
noun
1 a feeling of intense pleasure or joy : Leonora listened with rapture.
• ( raptures) expressions of intense pleasure or enthusiasm about something : the tabloids went into raptures about her.

I guess this is what we call a lapsus linguae.
Best sex?
The body of the man on the picture looks awful!
Loman
When using 'last night' it WAS published.
...youR reaction.

@Sasja
IN the picture

blog:
..... the worst thing THAT can happen / ... the worst thing TO happen....
Hesper
Thanks for pointing out the typo.
@ Sasja
It's not what it looks like, it's what he can do with it that counts ;)
Sasja, I think the picture is meant to symbolize carefree, joyous sex - or the fact that it is impossible, even wrong - who knows?
Sasja
You don't like men with big breasts?
Teresa
The picture is from a movie and the girl on the right is Sharon Tate, Polanski's wife.
And what the worst thing that could happen in LA was...
@Arnon
Thank you very very much. I mean rape of course .
I read the article and I think that doesn't change the subject of the case Polanski. Otherwise... Did you sign the petition Mr Grunberg?
all yours
Loki

I rarely sign petitions.
But I’m doubtful whether it is wise to try Mr. Polanski thirty years after his crime. Please, keep in mind that the victim doesn’t want a trial.
Your moral position (i.e. outrage) doesn’t impress me.
Furthermore, there is a gap between your actual comments and what I assume you are trying to say. I happen to believe that this gap is meaningful. It’s no coincidence that you write “rapture” when you mean “rape” or that you write “subject” when you mean…
Frida
No, I don't. :)
"Loman, Grunberg, not Grundberg."[Arnon Grunberg]

And here I was, thinking all the time, that your name was Grundberg, not Grunberg, as you can tell from my article too, Mr Perfect Youdself, I mean, Yourself...

You're the prototype of a 'Mensch' Mr Grunberg. I mean, really, nothing left to be desired here.

Rene Loman
By the way Mr Gruberg,

Sometimes when I read one of your many polemics, I'm remembered of an aphorism by Lichtenberg:

"Die gesundesten und schönsten, regelmäßigst gebauten Leute sind die, die sich Alles gefallen lassen. Sobald einer ein Gebrechen hat, so hat er seine eigene Meinung."

Rene Loman
I don't like what I wrote above.
Teresa
Never mind, Teresa.
Have as much carefree, joyous sex as you want.
