Chewing gum
Cheese
Last night I had dinner with eight people in the cozy restaurant “L’Auberge Aveyronnaise” in the twelfth arrondissement.
L’Auberge Aveyronnaise serves specialties from the Auvergne. The food is good, the service is excellent – it can be a bit cold when you get a table near the window, but that’s a minor detail.
One of L'Auberge Aveyronnaise's specialties is a dish that consists of cheese and mashed potatoes and that looks a bit like chewing gum. (Unfortunately I can’t recall the name of the dish.)
The dish tastes good, but it is on the heavy side.
One of my acquaintances, a rather flamboyant lady, asked for a second portion – a brave woman.

reminds me a bit of "stamppot"...
Aligot? Ruban de l'amitié.
Aligot?
I've been once in the region Aveyron. Could it be that the name of the dish was 'aligot & tome fraîche'?
By the way: best wishes for 2010.

Possible.
Mmmh...cheese and mashed potatoes. Sounds like something for me. I had jalapeños filled with cheese and spring rolls last night, though. There was nothing else in the fridge, since we had been too lazy to go shopping on Saturday.
beata
Chewing gum, is that the way your stamppot looks like?

Who are "we" exactly?
Mashed potatoes with cheese - I should try it. If I manage to find a recipe I'll let you know.
Arnon
My boyfriend and myself.
Look, taste or feel
This makes me think of chewing gum with cheese potato taste, id rather like cheese with hubba bubba strawberry taste, culminating in what i think is best: a bowl of cheesy chips digested by big glasses of cherry coke. So i hope there was something sweet on your sidedish or in your glass.

This pains me, "you and your boyfriend".
Do you think of me when you go shopping with him?
Always ask yourself the question "what would Arnon like to eat?"
They serve aligot.
Last week i ate Tartiflette, chewing gum of the Haute Savois.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.
As things are now I can't say that I think of you very much when I go shopping with him. But I promise I will try and fit more of you into my everyday life. I could think of you when we buy white chocolate cream and tea in the fancy foods department.
In return you could think of me when cooking pasta the next time.
gratinated
It probably was gratinated Gum de la rue de Lamee all along.
Not chewing gum
Not chewing gum,
Not chewing gum. Sometimes, I like that gum, but most of the time I don't., or i'm not interested in that gum. And I'm not a brave lady, mayby sometimes gummy, but most of the time a drummy. Brave? Yes, I think the brave, but anyway, I do not like chewing gum, sometimes from the heart. Bravehaert.
Yours sincerely, Simone Gerard
