Lion

Lausanne

Tonight I went to the opera to see Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
It was my first introduction to the work of Maurice Béjart.
I especially liked the third piece called “Dialogue de l’ombre double” on music by Pierre Boulez.
On of the attractions of this piece was a moving lion, which reminded for a moment of Lars von Trier’s “Antichrist”.
I appreciated Béjart’s choreografy more than Lars von Trier’s movie.

Béjart is completely outdated.
I didn't like Antichrist all that much. Maybe I have to see it again, like an aquired taste.

In my opinion The Antchrist started and evolved quite well (although I did not want to witness the self mutilation) but in the end the movie became bombastic.
"Je n' ai pas pour une matresse une Lione illustre". Wrote Baudelaire as a teen, before he had ever seen Lausanne with his own garlic like eyes.

'garlic like eyes' could see a lot more than the far-sighted ones :
("People with hyperopia can experience blurred vision, asthenopia, accommodative dysfunction, binocular dysfunction, amblyopia, and strabismus.")
So, what's your point?
You're a visionary, are you, or what?
Seeing Arnon Grunberg as a myth.
"A myth in his own right", I would say then.
Never mind, mind your p's and q's.

Thanks again Bert. You know, in my heart I really believe you are trying to help me and for a fact you did it again.

Isn't it a bit strange though. "Garlic like eyes" just popped up in my head - thinking of a photograph by Nadar - and now this combination of words seems to have existed before in a story about a newborn with yellowish eyes!

Might it be the case that we tend to make failures deliberately? In some attempt to be original. It is a game, you see?

( But how much space do you need to correct rather minor tiny little mistakes in typing?).

Can't Sander take care of those like he does with Grunberg's?
