I got some flowers recently (not out of love or admiration, but oh well). Can't bring myself to throw them away even though they're quite withered now and even a bit mouldy.

I subscribed to the magazine 'Blauwe maandagen' and yesterday I got the first volume. I right away started reading your mothers diary about your first years. I liked her writing a lot. I hope she got many compliments too.
Now I'm looking forward to your wine.
This summer I will force myself reading other writers again.

Roses, mhm. I absolutely love roses and even though I often like to buy some for myself it's just not the kind of thing you buy for yourself. Getting them is part of the overall attraction of roses - and flowers in general.
