Philippines

July 7th

On July 7th my mother went to the hospital.
Yesterday she came home.
A young woman from the Philippines is taking care of her.
Last night I ordered Chinese food in.
My mother munched on a spring roll as if the meaning of life was eating spring rolls.

Maybe she sees the springroll as life's metaphore. While life is eaten, you will be burnt when you eat it to fast, your life will loose its taste when it's eaten too slow. Sometimes a dip in the metaphorical shit, the peanut sauce, makes it taste stronger but not necessarily better. And too much of that shit will surely make it disappear.
Monday,
Amsterdam smells of rotten fish and tuberculous rats or something.
I keep telling myself just some between my ears problem.
The night spend at my woman friend's place near the "Movies", drinking cheap wine from a cardboard box. She has a little theTourette problem, which caused me to fall in love with her.
- She likes to spot famous people in a cafe named "Oranjerie", or she will be in her kitchenette watching people in a box.
As long as it moves and some name can be attached, it will absorb her sincere interest. Could you blame her?
Is that pinda sauce?
7-7: hospital IN.
8-8: hospital OUT.

If dates weren't conventional and arbitrary numbers, I'd say there's magic going on.
My mother and her friend saved 1 and 2 euro pieces for 2,5 years. Last weekend the pot was full, so they opened it. The result was good, but still they were a bit disappointed. There was, however, one weird and funny thing about the pot of money. It contained 300 times one euro in coins and 300 2 euro coins.
Your mother's diet
Sorry to point this out: is your mother, may she be healthy soon, not eating too much fat now ? (ice-creams, mayonnaise and now you mention these rolls...) Not to mention she was hospitalized with heart pathology if I understood correctly ...
This craving for lipids would certainly be of interest for her homeopath doctor though
Careca: I like the methaphor
Life
This is life: you start out as a spring chicken, but you end up being just another piece of spring roll.
