Living roommate
I’m here with two other journalists and a photographer.
We don't share a room – as far as I know I don’t have a roommate who’s alive – but we do share everything else.
Dinner is served at the Clipper Club.
The Clipper Club serves booze, but man, do I miss my table tennis friends in Afghanistan.

Can you say combat troops are more convivial? I remember guardian/interrogators/intelligence troops (like my father) were more or less avoided by the combat troops.
Yes, combat troops are preferable to guards.
