Hunger strike
Illogical
Two detainees have been on a hunger strike for more than twelve months.
They are being force-fed twice a day.
According to the doctor the process of being force-fed is painless.
He said: “Sometimes when we are busy and we are not on time with the force-feeding the detainees complain that they are hungry.”
I asked: “Isn’t it a bit illogical to complain about hunger and asking to be force-fed when you are on a hunger strike?”
The doctor answered: “Yes, that is illogical.”

Indeed, you have to pass beyond logic to fully understand a human being. I assume in this case, the prisoner wants to stay alive and keep some proud; illogical but human behaviour. Nice subject for a study, a book or simply to think about.
You think lightly about being force-fed. And they never refer to prisoners as prisoners, it's detainees. They are not guilty of anything yet.
being force-fed or not being force-fed.. the difference lies in the eye f the beholder. How many people eat every day at 8, 12, 6, and a little snack at 10pm?
A human is biologically made to eat every two days (like lions, they dn't eat every day, only short lived animals like mice eat constantly).
So we're s brainwashed to eat at certain times, I believe that it's force-feeding as well.
Really, Dens?
