Lunch
CIA
This afternoon, I had coffee at Grand Hotel Lublinianka with a theatre director who plans to stage my play “Our Pope” in Lublin.
An interpreter was present as well.
We spoke about the pope, Guantánamo Bay, CIA prisons in Poland and conservatism.
After approximately an hour the meeting was over and together with my girlfriend I walked to my favorite lunch café in Lublin, café Vanilla.

And a jolly remembering of your birthday today!
Ik mis nog steeds JPII
Dobre
Pope John Paul II wrote a work about phenomenology. An interesting fact in itself, I find. May I congratulate you? Then hereby.
Dag Arnon, van harte gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag. Ik stel voor dat je iets mag uitkiezen bij Kiki de Montparnasse, alhoewel ik je Art can only be erotic, van Pablo Picasso, zou aanbevelen.
There is a rather disturbing aspect to the fact that a Jew is writing a play about a catholic pope, even for me , an atheist, ex- catholic girl. And now you intend to bring this play - about JP II - before an audience in Lublin of all places. It rather be good.

No, I didn't. Apparantly I missed something. I decided to fight my compulsive obsession, named Arnon. Therefore I didn't attend any play, lecture or whatsoever concerning Arnon in 2011.

I've read that a special edition will be for sale in Ghent.
Will you be there? There is a meet and greet with Arnon on friday and his conversation saturday morning.
@Mieke
Yes, I already have my tickets for Friday and Saturday.
See you there ?
Mieke, Bernard
'Our Pope' (by Wunderbaum) was brilliant.
I saw it twice - that brilliant.
Henk
Thanks!
Helena
Have we met before?
@Vera M
Yes, Wunderbauw made an excellent performance in Ghent.
First I thought it was going to be a flop: there were only about ten people for the introduction in de cafeteria … but soon after in the theatre it was a full house.
Bernard
I'll try to make it. That is, if I'm not too psychotic. I have a bad period for the moment.
@Mieke
I am afraid I know a bit what you meant. Take care.
