Big portions
Guilt and pleasure
The “amante” and I went to Margaux last night, a restaurant, which I can recommend to anybody who is not into big portions. The evening was as good as one can wish for in the spring of 2007.
At the meantime my apartment in New York is being redecorated (being painted) under the supervision of my godchild and his mother, as I mentioned before. My godson has mixed feelings about this operation.
I decided not to feel guilty about it, just for a change.

What did you order?
On this enjoyable springevening with the "amante", how many times did you say sorry to yourself about not feeling guilty already?
If you decide not to feel guilty again, just for a change, ask me. I'ld love taking care of the guilt for a moment.
Libris
Sorry Tess, but I have been invited by Arnon to join him on Monday.
“Fetter Henne mit Karotten und eingekochten Victualien…?!” a man must have a poker face to endure a dinner in Germany.
Indeed a strong will is also needed to decide not to feel guilty and with good result.
I am afraid I fail in both cases.
But I liked Berlin too, nevertheless.
(People beware: ‘Ich bin ein Berliner’ means ‘I am a donut’. There is a lot of irony in history.)
Boris Vian
For the people that are interested, the site features now information on most of the books with an introduction by Arnon Grunberg (see: Oeuvre, Netherlands, other work) Info on the book by Renate Rubinstein will be online soon too.
The only book missing is Boris Vian's I Shall Spit on Your Grave. The 5th edition (1995) in the Netherlands contains an afterword by Arnon. If someone would like to exchange it for a first edition of the Dutch The Story of My Baldness, that would be great.

Where does that feeling of guilt come from? I rarely experience guilt, when I do i try to make up.
@Anita, I was wondering whether he might be taking a Namibian girl with him as a stunt, or a Mohammed Atta looking fellow. That's why I asked.
@ Johannes
Fans and rumours said Connie Palmen is willing to share a bed for a week with Arnon Grunberg, by preference in Amsterdam Hilton, to promote ‘Peace On Earth’ or at least ‘Peace On Earth between men en women’.(Not to promote a book ‘The Final Law’).
Or do we prefer mud wrestling?
