Elena
Love
One of the more bizarre authors I have met here at the festival is without a doubt the Romanian poet and Romanian ambassador to Canada Elena Stefoi.
When she was on stage she was incredibly funny. She kept saying: “And now I stop." And then she went on for another twenty minutes.
Another time she told me: “Excuse me for being so aggressive, but my wrist hurts.”
At a dinner party she said to me: “There you are again with your celebrity-face.”
I must admit the first time I met her I said: “Do you have a family, or can I still propose to you?”
There are two options: Elena S. is not too fond of Jews -- or she hates men who remind her of the abyss in her own life.
And today at the airport she declared: “I’m not going to read your books, at least not in the near future.”
I took this as a declaration of love.
If not love, definitely a proof of honesty.

That's not her in the picture, I suppose?
I wonder who I like the most; honest people or people that would like to read my books (if I was a real author, that is).

To see a picture of Elena S click on the link, in other words click on Elena S, the letters are blue, you will be redirected, it is as simple as possible.
@arnon
Yes, simple it is indeed. The picture next to your text is confusing me, however.
And I don't think the real picture of Elena is much better than the unreal one, to be honest.
It wasn't about the looks.

I could not find a picture of Elena S on flickr.com. So I decided to go for an old woman from Rumania.
(I could have asked Elena: “Can I take a picture of you?” Next time.)
@marinet
I know it wasn't.

Even Sava Stefoi can be found on Flickr.

Yes, you are right, there she is, my beloved one.
Maybe you can find some poetry of her as well? In translation if possible.

PS Her name is Elena not Sava, or do you know her by her nickname?
Yes, she is after your tail, the little tease.
Poetry
I went trough 9 poems and selected only this:
no, don’t stop when you cross the finish line
your twin brother is standing right there he holds out his hat
(from “The Starting Line”)
If you do want more, please let me know.
PS: You’re right. Sava is her middle name, but she is called that way now and then.
@Rothko
I want some more.

@Arnon - I tell you, it's impossible to leave a comment on Words Without Borders so I'm doing it here: #1 'Wizard of Oz', Frank L. Baum
by the way - it's equally as impossible to leave comments here... you guys have asked for my email many times and never sent me one to verify and so, well, anyway whatever. my comments are lost. I guess that's no true loss.
I don't agree with most commentators. I think that thoughts are in the first place a part of cerebral process. Thoughts belong to the realm of the mind. Some of them can be rational, others more irrationel. They can be quiet and peaceful, others can be very violent and turn into neuroses and psychosises and be extremely real to the one experiencing them even if they are never uttered.
It's not because you are not around when the tree falls down that it didn't happen.
Furthermore I believe that mental contact between people is possible even without using fysical means such as a mouth a pen are a computer. In that respect a thougt can go further than you can imagine.
I noticed that I posted my comment on the wrong day. It's a late reaction on "The mouth".
@dutoit
Never mind, I noticed it too but who cares. I think this site is about content, not form.

Do you know Elena S personally?
celebrity-face
Arnon,
Maybe Elena meant you are a glowworm among ordinary worms.

me
ok.
sava is neither my nickname used now and then, nor my middle first name.
make a better guess.
ponder on at least an extra option, simply beacause sometimes a love declaration does not exclude the honestity;
and keep growing.

Is it you? Where have you been? I'll keep growing if you keep growing, I cannot do it on my own.
