To the left you see my audience last night at Lehmanns Bookstore in Leipzig.
After the reading two ladies were waiting for me for some more Q&A, these ladies turned out to be a psychologist and a dentist.
Since the representative of the bookstore didn’t feel like even offering me a glass of wine, I invited the two ladies for wine. (And asparagus.)
We spoke about the GDR, teeth, books and the USA.
This week I’ll be doing a reading tour in Germany (see: calendar) and I’ll give all the bookstores where I read a mark on a scale from 1 to 10.
Lehmanns Bookstore, Leipzig is going to get a 6.
I hesitated between a 5 and a 6, but given the weather I decided for a 6. I’m a lenient person after all.

I was confused for a moment, GDR is the ‘German Democratic Republic’ not the ’Großdeutsches Reich’.
It is a reading about your book ‘Der Heilige des Unmöglichen’ (in Dutch ‘Figuranten’) I have never read. So I hurry up to the bookshop again. I still have to read ‘De Heilige Antonio’ too. Now I am busy with A.F.Th. van der Heijden’s ‘Schervengericht’, a story I like a lot.
I was confused too. I thougt about the GVR, by Roald Dahl.

My novel Figuranten is called “Silent Extras” in English.
My novella De heilige Antonio is named in German “Der Heilige des Unmöglichen.”
You can find all this info by clicking on “oeuvre” on this site.
Sorry, my clicking was good, my reading was not. Thanks.

Someone told me about the website. I am taking a look at it now and would like to ask: is it possible to join this mudwrestling and when does it take place?
I stopped reading Der Heilige des Unmoglichen at the moment.
btw
a friend of mine has an exposition in the Art domain gallery, lessingstrasse 24., Leipzig. Interesting works.

Friede, the mudwrestling event will most likely take place this fall. You will be able to participate by registering on a special, upcoming website.
Great to hear you want to throw yourself in the mud. What group of people will you represent?
