Tuesday evening I went to the 92 Y to listen to a talk by Jacky Teplitzky, broker at Douglas Elliman, about real estate in New York.
Jacky told us that us that the price per square foot is much lower in the Financial District and on the Upper East Side than in let’s say Soho or the West Village.
In the Financial District you can still find bargains and compared to Monaco, London, Hong Kong or Singapore New York itself is a bargain.
With this reassuring message – New York is a bargain – I left the 92 Y.
