There are not many things better in Amsterdam than De Pompadour, at least for coffee and pastries.
This afternoon I was sitting in De Pompadour next to a woman from Shanghai.
She said: "I'm contemplating moving to Amsterdam."
"Why?" I asked.
"For my boyfriend."
"That's a good reason. The only reason probably."
