Tourism
Low profile
Prizren is the most beautiful city in Kosovo. Tourism has a future here.
Yesterday the Serbs told me about the churches that were burnt in Prizren during the riots of March 17, 2004.
Today the Albanians told me that the churches are not yet rebuilt because the Serbian Orthodox Church has not given permission for the reconstruction of the churches.
Fact is that many churches and monasteries are protected by KFOR troops
And me? When I speak with Albanians I’m an Albanian. When I speak with Serbs I’m a Serb.
This is what people call: low profile.
When my mother calls me I’m a Jew. That isn’t exactly low profile, but it keeps the conversation with my mother flowing.

Keeping low-profile is what spies do to blend in for a higher purpose. What's your's?
In my opinion, one of the recurring issues in your work is avoiding life. Avoiding participation. When your whole life evolves around not living, what's the point? Is the only reason for not committing suicide the fact that it might be inconvenient for others? Is it the fact that by ending your life, you acknowledge that you had one?
Why are you so afraid to live? Or, for that matter, why am I?
Participation can be a mouse-trap . We cannot avoid life, we can only (try to) avoid the traps other people want us to lurk into, into a centain way of life forever (i was a child spy, a double- or multi-spy even: my father was a communist and my mother a religious fanatic, so i had to please both worlds and many others after..) Keep on truckin Mr.Grunberg! Tirza is quality.
