Lexical stress and sentential stress are quite independent. Lexical stress is "word stress" and concerns the relative emphasis given to syllables in a word. For example, the word "chambermaid" has primary stress on the first syllable and secondary stress on the final syllable. Sentential stress concerns the relative emphasis of words in a sentence. For instance, in the sentence "I would like to speak to the chambermaid", the word "chambermaid" would usually receive sentential stress. (Although not necessarily; one can say "I would like to SPEAK to the chambermaid", e.g. in response to a hotel manager saying "Regarding your complaints about room keeping, I would suggest to write the chambermaid a letter".)
