Lack of passion
Not a crime
Le Figaro published today an interview with Woody Allen.
Maybe this is why I fell out of love with Woody Allen a while ago.
Also today The International Herald Tribune published an article about the new movie “Southland Tales”.
In this movie one of the characters has a hit song called “Teen Horniness Is Not A Crime”.

Bien dit. Très bien.
The Woody Allen movie Zelig made the most impression on me.
Teen horniness is indeed not a crime, it was just a burden.

Zelig might be called a masterpiece.
so he is no longer a brilliant director, but still a very good inventor of catchy song titles.

I don't think Southland Tales is directed by Mr. Allen. Just click on the link to read the article in the IHT, I don't create these links for nothing, they are meant to enlighten you, Ivo. Thanks!
Arnon, at what time do you get up?
Isn't that the real reason why we do things, just because we can, that's all.

We don’t do everything we can. we make choices. That means that there is a certain motivation for our actions which lies further then our abilities.
i still have one of my favourite movies of Woody on video : ´ Radio Times` , it looks ancient ...

When exactly did you fell out of love with Woody Allen? Was it before Match Point? Personally, I think that was a classic. Maybe to you it was like meeting an old lover?
Warnke
I wasn't too fond of Matchpoint.

I meant that, when a person has to make a decision in a moment of doubt or under pressure or in a lack of time or because he has to do something for his living, we will make a choice for the things we know, weather we like it or not, just because we can.
Passion is a far overestimated concept created to help surviving the romantics which I am, believe me, but only after my working hours.

When do you know for certain that you can not do something? It might not be that often in life that we extend our boundaries, but we all find ourselves in situations where we look back and think: ‘wow, I did it’ . Henry Ford once said: “Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal." So I guess ambition might be an essential part as well. Another factor can be the feeling of threat which fills you with adrenalin and make you do things you might not expected. In short, I think there is more to it.

In general you might be right, but for me it's clear, I miss ambition in life and adrenaline kicks, I even tried a benjee jump in Canada, but yet, a thrill for about 2 seconds, and than I thought of all the paperwork at my office.
a 2 seconds thrill

An orgasm is overestimated for the same reason

I don't agree, it's the only legal way I know to get completely out of this world, even if it is only for 2 seconds, better then nothing, isn't it?
