Gasoline
Morales
On the first of January there was a shortage of gasoline in Potosi.
While waiting in line one Bolivian man said: "I voted for Morales and what do I get? No gasoline."

Tirza has not been ranslated to English yet?! i couldn't find it in Amazon.
Tirza
Neria,
Tirza hasn't been translated in English.
Diogenes will publish the German translation in early 2008.
Johannes,
Alas, those i want to read Tirza cannot read German. When will it be published in English? i wonder if Tirza is timeless. It is a very powerful book but i'm afraid it will loose some of its momentum if it will be printed too late (if there isat all such a 'too late' threat). i really hope i'm wrong.
Tirza
Neria,
I am sorry, but I don't know. The upcoming English/American publication as you may know is The Jewish Messiah. And I think Comma Press in England will publish Amuse-Bouche, a collection of short stories, in October 2008.
You may keep an eye on the site of the Foundation for the Production and Translation of Dutch Literature as they announce translations pretty early:

Hmm. This photo reminds me of the t-shirts I've seen on sale in the shops today. Is it a pimped Mercedes or BMW I'm looking at now? Icons... Andy Warhol was so right. Warhol actually made great drawings and movies, but people just seem to stick to the silkscreenprints. I suppose they look nice above the couch. Like Ché does at the back of a silver car.
I remember a nice ‘Che’ exhibition in the Tropenmuseum, Amsterdam. By the way, I wonder if Warhol made any Jesus prints, I do not seem to remember them.
