Documentary

Significant part

This morning I had my first encounter with a Shia sheikh. He invited me for lunch, but unfortunately I could not stay.
So all he did was show me his computer and a documentary in which he played a significant part.
Tonight I was supposed to leave for Baghdad, but my flight is rescheduled for tomorrow morning.
Another day in Camp Taji.

Ah, no Flak Vest this time.
You look tanned.

I follow your suggestion.

Thought I'd contribute to the illusion of normality.
Maggot - the larva of the housefly and blowfly commonly found in decaying organic matter - is spelled with 2 g's.

Since you kindly asked me to refrain from addressing you on this blog, I ask you to do the same. Perhaps you can put your childish jokes on your own blog, next to the photo of your chesthair.

Oh, but the ban was lifted already, didn't I tell you? I don't hold any grudges to people.
As for the joke, I thought it was pretty good myself. I just felt that Victor's English lessons had more of an edge to them, even when they were equally pedantic.
As for the picture, I took it off a long time ago already. The idea is that people, women included, read the posts, not stare at the hair on my chest. But I understand. A woman on the Frederiksstraat spontaneously threw her black bikini at me when I passed. Was that you?

No, I was too busy reading.
