Inch by inch
After sex
I recently had a discussion with a friend about what music to play after sex.
In my opinion, the best choice is Brecht’s “Kanonensong”.
A decent second choice is “Mein Herr”.

I think Kanonensong is better before sex and Mein Herr after.
The Kanonensong sounds familiar to me. I don't know why.
I've never had sex and music at the same time. Once I've had sex while Big Brother (the tv-show) was on television. That's the only scatter I've had. I should try it, music and sex.
I'll opt for some Classical bits. Anyone suggestions?
As I think of it, Burial comes to mind. They've got great music to have sex on, I think. (But as you can see I'm no expert) And as I listen to it, I think it probably works best on foreplay.

That's an interesting suggestion.

I'm not sure if you should listen to music and have sex at the same time, but if you feel the need to do so I would recommend (based on experience) Mozart's Requiem.

What do you do after sex? Going home to your wife? Reading the newspaper? Calling your mother? Balancing your checkbook?
Arnon
In the morning having breakfast, in the afternoon having lunch, in the evening having dinner and at night I fall asleep after sex.

Wherefore "inch by inch"?
oscar w
"The continent of Europe is so wide,
Mein Herr.
Not only up and down, but side to side,
Mein Herr.
I couldn't ever cross it if I tried,
Mein Herr.
So I do..
What I can...
Inch by inch...
Step by step...
Mile by mile...
Man by man."
Did this answer your question?
@Arnon
Interesting too that you thought about sex and Mozart’s Requiem - so did I … (Passion and despair ?)
Arnon
Yes! I listened to the lyrics of both songs in search of the line "inch by inch". I must not have paid enough attention.

What does Laura have to say about these songs?
Arnon
Laura doesn't speak German, but I will ask her how she likes "Mein Herr".
Music
I presume you're only in to one night stands?
Strasse's partner
This is an offensive remark.
Arnon
Laura says that she was subjected to the songs from "Cabaret" in Arts and Music camp when she was a little girl. Unfortunately, "Mein Herr" was not amongst her favorite songs.
Arnon
What is offensive about one-night stands?
oscar
Any songs Laura liked better than "Mein Herr?"
And forgive me for asking but Vilde is curious to know if Laura sometimes engages in the act of cross-dressing.
Vilde
The presumption that I'm only interested in one-night stands is preposterous. That you yourself seem te believe that the one-night stand is the path to happiness does not mean that people like me -- believers in a meaningful and monogamous relationship with lots of tenderness -- should not take offense when a commenter is suggesting that the one-night stand is one of their favorite pastimes.
I cannot elaborate on this I have to write an e-mail to one of my students.
Vilde
You have to believe Arnon. From time to time he sends me those beautifull dreams filled with loving and tender care. For Arnon this is most certainly an issue.
One nigth stand
I can not imagine that you play that kind of after sex music when you want to see the women again, I sure would run and never come back. I don't know you enough (not at all even) and I don't receive dreammails like Mieke so I'm not able to judge if you're really a believer in just one 'amour pour toujours', it would surely amaze me.

I love to surprise people. Are you male? Or female? Does not matter. Come visit me in New York and I will surprise you.
strasse's partner
ps Actually I’m a great believer in amour pour toujours sauf lundi et mercredi après-midi.
NY
Thank you for the invitation, I will have to pass though because I'm scared of strangers and rendez-vous', I'm not in my NY-period anymore and I don't like surprises (btw, I'm male, so after your sailers adventure my guess would be that you rather prefer to be amazed by a women), so Mieke you're back in the game!.
Strasse's partner
After my adventure with the sailor my appetite for (young) men has been steadily growing. But please don't feel obliged to accept my invitation.
On the other hand don't jump to conclusions: you might be able to become Vilde's contender.
Arnon
All right, fine! I'm willing to try a second night.
Arnon
As a child, Laura liked "The telephone song" from "Bye bye Birdie" and "When you're a Jet" from "West Side Story".
Arnon
My favorite song to play after sex would be "Triad" by The Byrds.
Vilde
When?
Oscar
I like the lyrics of the song:
"You want to know how it will be
Me and her, or you and me
You both stand there, your long hair flowing
Your eyes alive, your mind still growing
Saying to me what can we do now that we both love you
I love you too
And I don't really see
Why can't we go on as three"
Do you believe the third person is a baby or a neighbour? I prefer the second interpretation. Actually the question "and I don't really see/ why can't we go on as three" has been on my mind for quite a while.
Triad
Ha, I knew that song by The Jefferson Airplane.
Strasse's partner
Thank you , for letting me in on the game again. Much obliged.
Arnon
I hasten to say that I chose this song for the music more than the lyrics. Between the two interpretations you suggested, I have a preference for the one involving a neighbor.
Bernard
Yes, the original is by Jefferson Airplane, sung by a woman.
Arnon/Oscar
Is this because with a baby there is no escape?
Oscar
The music didn't do much for me.
Arnon
I have you down for tomorrow between 2 and 3 p.m.
@ Arnon
Go on as three as in "me myself and I"?
Vilde
Are we speaking about November 26 between 2 and 3 PM Eastern Standard Time?
Arnon
I realize we didn't specify a time zone. Whichever suits you.
Vilde
How about Mountain Standard Time?
Have you ever engaged in phone sex before?
Arnon
I think of the telephone as a kind of sex toy.
Vilde
I am a phone sex virgin. Do you mind?
Arnon
I find this hard to believe.
Vilde
Why do you say this?
@ Arnon
Maybe Vilde read your books.
