Yarmulke

Lovable

Last night my reading took place in Bielefeld’s new synagogue. I had to wear a yarmulke, and so did the male part of the audience.
Maybe because of the yarmulke the audience in Bielefeld seemed to be a bit difficult. But the woman who organized the reading was lovable.
To the left: my bed in Munich. I’m tempted to give this bed an 8, because of the lamp above my pillow.

This looks like a lovely bed. If the lamp doesn't come down you'll have wonderfull dreams.
Those beds all seems like sleeping beds. What I like in hotels is actually living on the bed. Eating, watching TV, reading and working. This automatically happens when a big sized bed occupies most of the room.
It looks very Bavarian. It makes me feel homesick.
Arnon
This looks very German, can you tell me who made the etching or drawing?
David
From here it looks like a copy. I think Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot.
@Sander
You sound like my girlfriend. You should meet each other.
Furthermore I like to conclude with a famous Wim T Schippers’ phrase : “Mooie lamp, overigens!”
I often wondered how people could hold that little headwear in place – a clip now I found out, but what about baldheads? (I tend to lose even the tightest fitted headwear.) Another mystery of human culture…
The pillow seems abysmally thin.
was it a yarmulke that one trows right back in a big box until next week? The ones Gentiles have to wear? I'd like a yarmulke, but I've never bought one. Maybe I should start with one.

A sad note: yesterday I went to the hairdresser's and had my hair cut. I told them not to cut my peyos, b ut they did. They have no respect for my hair, so I am never returning to this place of Satan.

Must be a copy yes
Dear Webmaster,
Why make different pages for every fifty comments.
I liked it better when all the comments were on one page.
Can we go back to this situation?

yours,

Eric
Arnon
please let me know before you leave the room
Crucifix
At least the bed doesn't have a crucifix above the bed. Often beds (including hotel beds) do have in Bavaria. I have often puzzled why this is. Is it to keep the devil away while you're sleeping? Or is it to remind you of Jesus while you're fucking? Or both?

Have you noticed how often Bavarians greet God rather than each other?

Which hotel are you staying at, Arnon? Hopefully in Schwabing or near the universities. Some parts of München are terribly dreary.

By the way.... are you a very sound sleeper or are you also sometimes bothered by the sounds from neighboring rooms? Perhaps you could also rate your neighbors?
Erotic
Haha, no. I just like it. And yes, definitely charming . But beside that: The way you spoke your "Fäustchen" sounded some kind of "cute". And that fits very well to the belittlement. I say: keep it!

Bavaria offers a lot of interesting words to practice on instead. "Gschpusi" for example. I hope you don't start to rate them.
Dens
Yes, that kind of yarmulke.

JP Visfer Bender.

Half the visitors just come to read Arnons post. I am trying to find a balance between making a large, heavy to load page and light page that might need some extra clicks to reach the end of the comments.

Would you be interested in a button at the top of the comments section that would take you right to the last posted comment?

I sleep without pillows.
I don't like sleeping without any pillows (or a pullover, a stuffed animal...) under my head. It causes me severe pain in the ear I'm lying on.
What about blankets, Arnon. Can you sleep without one, e.g. during summer?
Juliane
During summer time I sleep with a sheet. No blanket.
Yarmulke
I don't know if I stand alone in this, but I find men who wear a Yarmulke extremely sexy and the little object touches my deepest emotions.
Arnon
Would you also sleep completely without a sheet or blanket? I, myself, always have to cover at least one leg but somehow grew out of covering both my feet.
To Arnon
Under other circumstances I would have made the trip to Munich for (among other reasons) your conversation with Frau Emcke.

Would you care to say a few words about your public meeting?
Pjötr
The meeting was congenial and I recommend Emcke's book "Von den Kriegen".
What do you want to know more?
To Arnon
Do you plan to publish on the violence of language in the near future?
Dear Sander,
yes, that might be an idea.

Dear S.
Thank you.
