Waltz
Responsibility
Last night I went out with a friend and we saw the movie “Waltz with Bashir”.
It’s an excellent movie about war, memory and the limitations of moral responsibility.
In the genre “war movies” perhaps even better than “Platoon”, although it is hard to compare these two movies. (There is one questionable moment in "Waltz with Bashir", but this small flaw doesn’t spoil the movie.)
Bashir by the way is not the name of the main character, Bashir is Bashir Gemayel.

What's the questionable moment?
Looks chilling, and a nice soundtrack too.
Are we moral responsible? Why is that and why is it limited? Who decided this?
Dens
Society is built on the assumption that we are responsible for our actions unless proven otherwise.
..
Have you seen this movie?
I haven't, no.
Sounds interesting.
insanity is a bliss
...
Then I suggest you first see the movie.
Dens
Have you committed a crime?
Dens
Careful with that axe, Dens.
No, no crime, but life itself is hard enough to bare. You may not see it as me, but I do have an effect on a lot of people's life and I don't like it, because they confront me with it.
I can not imagine what it must be like living like you.
Soundtrack
Great to hear Johnny Rotten screaming "This is not a love song" accompaniing the movie.
@ Dens, here's some advice ;) : always ignore unasked for advice. Humans are parasites who indulge on the vulnerablities of their loved ones.
Dearest Dens,
when you say: "I do have an effect on a lot of people's life "
You mean like tens, hundreds, thousands......
absolutly yours,
Eric

Dear Eric, when you ask me questions like "what do you mean" and "why is this". What are you really asking?
My dear Dens,
I really ask you: do you have an effect on ten people or more, a hundred people or more, a thousand people or more.....?
I have prove that you have at least "an effect" on one person: me.
yours,
Eric
