Mission

Somebody

“I have a mission for you,” the woman said at the end of our dinner.
She gave me a Valentine’s Day card and she said: “I want you to give this card to somebody in Iraq, or maybe you will need it yourself.”

(To avoid misunderstandings: this is not the card the woman gave me. A secret mission is a secret mission.)

Is this the card they, in Iraq, gave back to us, honkies?
Arnon
Didn't the woman said: " I have a mission for you?"
According to the dialogue in your memory she said nothing about "secret."
I would love to see this card, i hope its not a boomerang card, because the messages on those cards always come right back at ya.
Kevino
I consider most missions in Iraq secret missions.
I'd like a Valentine. If Femke reads this: contact me. If she doesn't: somebody else contact me. I'm in for nothing fancy. Just a stroll through the park, some red wine, a backrub and maybe someone licking my ear.

Unfortunately I am to busy these days.
But I already imagine you walking in the park with five different dates ;)
A way to go...
... to Iraq. :p
Arnon
Is your serie about the Ukrainian brides part of 'Kamermeisjes en soldaten'? Or will it appear as a serie in Humo. I asked to read it in the library, but they had only two parts of the six in their possession.
Mieke
"Humo" is going to publish the articles.
Arnon,
I find this very annoying. You start talking about missions, secrecy, cards... and then you won't tell a thing about it. It's like holding a bone in front of a dog and then never giving it. So frustrating...
Annojo
This is what makes it fun. Arnon is a master in the game.
Sander
Thank you. You are a real sweety.
Mieke,
So you're saying Arnon is playing?
Great line for a card, quite useful and hopefully effective
Annojo
Life is a game for Arnon. So yes, he plays.
I agree with Annojo, it's very iritating indeed.

What's the fuss about? I'm going back to Iraq. What else do you need to know? Where exacly does this sense of entitlement come from?
Arnon
It's just that the post makes no sense when you don't give us that information.
If you putted: “I will go back to iraq” everybody understands, and in a way this line makes you also a veteran, what do you want more for you audience??????

By the way, who made this nice card
split the questionmarks a little.
David
Thanks for the support :-)
Mieke
But if Arnon is playing does he master the game or does the game master him? Compulsive playing (i.e. to see everything in life as a game) sounds to me as if he weren't in charge anymore.
Arnon,
I don't see it as a right to get all the information, I'm just saying that it irritates me sometimes to see that you only give away the top of the iceberg for just a second and that what lies underneath is kept hidden. You can also take this as a compliment.
People
It's Arnon's blog, remember?
Sander
How can I download the picture above?
@Mieke
Are you serious? Right mouse click on the picture …
Bernard
Foolish Mie, I completely forgot that one.Thanks.
Mieke
A more interesting way to copy this picture is to take an old newspaper, scissors and some glue... ;-)
