In the late summer of 2006 Arnon Grunberg traveled with Mark Berenson to a Peruvian prison to visit Berenson's daughter Lori. Five articles were published in NRC Handelsblad in September and October of 2006.
Grunberg visited Lori a second time and wrote a large article in January 2008.
