Carrera published Niels Roelen's Soldaat in Uruzgan (Soldier in Uruzgan): a non-fiction book about Afghanistan, where Roelen served as a soldier in the Dutch army. With a foreword by Arnon Grunberg, who met Roelen in Afghanistan.
