Today, Friday the 6th of November 2009, NRC Handelsblad published Arnon Grunberg's essay about Ad van Denderen's photos of Dutch soldiers and their families. This essay is also published in Occupation: Soldier (Dutch-English edition, published by Paradox/NRC), the book that accompanies Van Denderen's new photo exhibition in The Hague, the Netherlands.
