Feminine side

Contact sport

“As in all great affairs, Mark Sanford fell in love simultaneously with a woman and himself — with the dashing new version of himself he saw in her molten eyes.
In a weepy, gothic unraveling, the South Carolina governor gave a press conference illustrating how smitten he was, not only with his Argentine amante, but with his own tenderness, his own pathos and his own feminine side.
He got into trouble as a man and tried to get out as a woman,” writes Maureen Dowd in today’s IHT.

Berlusconi’s apparent infidelity seems to make him only more popular in Italy, but promiscuity can seriously hamper a politician’s career in the US.
It’s my modest proposal to turn infidelity into another contact sport.
So one senator can ask another senator: “Do you work out in the gym?” And the second senator will be able to answer: “For heaven’s sake, no! I have been promiscuous since I turned 13.”

Being two-faced, I remember my teacher said, was a characteristic treat of medieval men.

Until the dawn of the fifties, (contact) sport was considered an ideal tool against promiscuity and other carnal activities.

Yes, and every woman was on the one hand mother Mary and on the other hand the instrument of the devil.
My favorite roleplaying as a kid: Maria Magdalena and Keetje Tippel. And I was smitten with Jezus, like many.
Double life
I just found out today that a judge in my town had a double life, in 'real' time he was a very serious and 'sec' guy, wife, little kid, great career, house in the better part of town, etc. , 'after hours' he had an amante and another two kids, it was a kind of a shock in the coffeebar of the court and it might end his career, judges are suposed to be above human temptations.
Lucky me for not being a judge.

I hope you have a double life.
When I graduated from primary school at the age of twelve , I performed my favorite act: 'Zwarte lola en de stripteasebar'.
When I sat down on the lap of the principal during the performance, he became red.
This was the end of my double life.
@Mieke
At the age of twelve? I would have loved your act. Yes indeed, at the age of twelve, the girls in our classroom already read ‘Ik, Jan Cremer’, (you know, the book with the motorcycle on it – I refuse to read it, because I was not interested in motorcycles, I replied to the smiling girls) But then I was only provided with books by Lenin, Karl May (!) and biographies about Nazi leaders.

"Willen de heren,
zich amuseren,
dan sta ik altijd voor hen klaar,
want ik ben Lola, zwarte Lola,
ik ben Lola van de stripteasebar."

In my fantasies I have a lot of lifes, in reality only one is already to complicated.

If one life is too complicated you need a double life.
During this summer I make time for an evaluation and some changes, maybe a double life could be a solution, there are some other options to (quitting my job, getting married, leaving my boyfriend, become lesbian, starting a cocaine addiction or any addiction, making money with a webcam, couchsurfing around the world, accepting that the question 'Is dit alles wat er is?' only has 'yes, we're sorry' as answer,...)

Why not do all these things at the same time?
