Melancholy

Was there an outbreak of melancholy in yourselve because of the decadence in the setting? Or was that the overall feeling at that club?
Too much luxury makes one lose his mental sanity?

All-over and Hollands Diep

I first read the title 'all over again' as meaning `repetition', and then as `being finished' and thought how funny it was that the same words can have such opposite meanings. Looked in the dictionary to see that there also exists an 'all-over' , which refers to not feeling well ('onlekker')...

Anyway, I actually just wanted to drop a line to say that I found your story in the summer edition of Hollands Diep quite a beauty. It has the voice and rhythm of a traditional legend, with that familiar touch of melancholy and fatalism that I like so much. Wondered if this was an old or recent story? And when the Collected Stories by Arnon Grunberg will be published ;-) (as in stories, not letters or journalism)?
