At a certain age
Benefactor
Yesterday afternoon I visited a notary public in The Hague.
I plan to found a non-profit organization that will subsidize literature in translation, among other things.
At a certain age you have to become a benefactor.

That is great news!
....and at a certain wealth? But you get a broader perspective when your over 35, happens a lot indeed.
No way out. You had it in you !

You are so predictable.
And so frustrating.
Arnon, could you please stop being such a nice guy?
I'll never get over you like this.

Will there be a job opening too? I'm available!
When I reach a certain age, I will found a non-profit organisation that will publish the books of very bad writers no one else would even consider publishing.
Each year, at christmas maybe, all copies of these novels will be burnt
on the beach of Ostend.
God bless you, Ken

Wow. And I thought vanity publishing houses were cruel. Will you tell them they're absolutely talent-free? And if so, will you hand out razorblades and nooses, as well?

The book ''Mein kampf'' is also refused by all publicers before it turned out to be a huge success.
Do the English speaking world a favor
And subsidize a great translation of the lyric of
"Mensch, durf te leven" (Dirk Witte). Then pitch it to some creative rock 'n rollers. We don't have anything like it!
Also, do me a favor, subsidize yourself and produce some Nederlandse luisterboeken of your own writing. I need some to hear your Dutch words, not just read them! I'm mangling the pronunciation in my head.
You don't have to publish this as a comment on the blog, you're the only one who I need to hear this.
Pisiusse. There's a film some Dutch genius needs to make. Wandering around the world pretending to be Italian, getting off'd in Dam Square.
Oh well, erase this, I'm rambling.
