Schulberg
Restoration producer
Tonight I saw the movie “Nuremberg”.
It’s a documentary commissioned by the American military about the Nuremberg trials.
Sandra Schulberg, the moviemaker’s daughter and restoration producer, introduced the movie. She pleaded for money in order to keep the restored movie alive.
“Nuremberg” is obviously made as a propaganda movie, in the best sense of the word.
But to listen to Göring, Frank, Kaltenbrunner and Jodl, among others, at their trial is fascinating.

Equally fascinating are Leni Riefenstahl's movies. I collect them.
So they did not use their right to stay silent? (zwijgrecht) Like Mohammed B., Volkert van der Graaf and Wilders?
the scorsese kazan thing was on last night and our guest asked archly : "who was it who said they didn't like on the waterfront"
for youthfully she attended the actors studio
it was me of course cos unlike scorsese i was unwilling to forgive the surrender to convention in the obvious falsity of the ending
and it was so gay
but today (perhaps im dense and slow)
i realize that read as an allegory of hollywood
itsa lot better but still pretty gay

Thanks!
