My mother always came 10 minutes late. There were no other people left waiting at the gate. Many times I thought she would never come, but when she did I guess I was glad. In the car, of course, I acted angrily, because you shouldn't let a child wait for you. Especially when it's alone and there's a guardian waiting to go home but can't because the child is still there.
