Family

70

Tad Friend reviews the Sarah Silverman Program in The New Yorker:

‘Woman: “You know, family is the most important thing in life. It’s who you are.” Sarah: “That’s so wise.” Woman: “Well, that’s just what comes with being seventy.” Sarah: “No, you’re not. There is no way you are seventy! You look to young!...
(The woman moves in for a hug, but Sarah halts her.) Oh, now that you’ re closer I can tell you’re old.” '

I like Sarah Silverman a lot.
In the meantime I have arrived at Warsaw Airport. Who needs family when you have frequent flier miles?

You don't need family, because you're a writer. Family are unwritten books. The more you write, the less you'll need them.
I still need my sis.
When family are unwritten books, written books are strangers?
Would you write a play for her?
Another nice person you bring to my attention. Sometimes you share more with me than my family does. Allow me to say, sometimes I need you now.
