Last night I went more or less by coincidence to a concert in the Église Saint-Éphrem on Rue des Carmes in Paris.
The small church was lit by candles and Sarah Jacob played the cello – Bach’s Cello Suites.
There were about eighty people in the church. And although it was fairly cold in Église Saint-Éphrem Sarah Jacob kept me warm.
