Il Matto

Fluid

Finally I made it to restaurant Il Matto on Church Street.
The “Clamato Mary”, according to Sam Sifton a cocktail with "reddish-brown fluid, ice and a few Manila clams”, was a bit disappointing. But the food was excellent.
Highly recommended.

nice
It sounds really nice.. A great cook can turn even something as simple as French toast into a work of art.

With my rural background I fear I still see food as a necessary evil, but I admire (envy?) those who don't.
Not as noisy as the Nice Matin, I may hope.
I'm allergic to clams, otherwise I would like to try it. So I'll stick with the "Pomme Moscovite" instead for N.Y.E.. Keeping up with the basics.
Highly recommended
A smile at a ‘Voyage au bout de la nuit’ by Anselm Kiefer (http://tinyurl.com/32u4z2k),
A kiss on ‘L'Origine du monde’,
Nearly finishing ‘Huid en Haar’, (by the naughty adult Arnon)
No disappointment at all,
Only a mild migraine attack caused by an excess of excellence.

I thought I was flipping out.
So the image of upscale porn seems to get lost, I presume.

Arnon is also a skilled detective.
I see food as a necessity too. Don't have to be a Maestro to think that way. Food isn't decadent, you can hate and love it at the same time. I'm reading skin & hair. Similarities with Franzen's Freedom and Lethems Chronic City?
