The pope

Death in Poland

Shortly before I left Warsaw for Wroclaw I met the Polish journalist, activist and feminist Kazimiera Szczuka.
She said: “If you make fun of the pope in Poland you are dead, symbolically spoken.” And she added: “The culture in Poland is in deep crisis.”

The pope and religion. I think the pope is more a subject of love than a source of wisdom and knowledge for many religious people. Therefore mockery with the pope (or any religious leader) sometimes has the same effect as laughing with someone’s beloved man or wife; they simply smash your face.
I also think that is why so many people (re)turn to religion; they feel needed and loved, something science do not offer.

My cousin is married to a Polish woman. After the death of pope John Paul, she suddenly became a religious fanatic. They haven't had sex since.
This he told me after asking whether I'd consider playing the games we played when we were 8.
Sorry - John Paul II.
I hope Kazimiera can write what she wants
without making fun of the pope. (Which I don't dissaprove.)
Can she?
(She looks good - but that has nothing to do with it)

Is it only culture that is in trouble in Poland?

From my perspective it 's more Kazimiera that looks as if she is in a crisis.
She looks like after good sucking^^
