A beautiful pastime

A small child and a dwarf

As this picture shows Parkhotel Krefelder Hof offers the traveler who happens to travel alone a slightly better bed than the Rheydter Residenz in Mönchengladbach.
This bed is big enough for an adult and a small child, maybe even a dwarf.
Parkhotel Krefelder Hof does have a swimming pool. This morning before breakfast I went for a swim. There was just one old lady in the small pool. After seven minutes I left. Swimming is a beautiful pastime but you should not overdo it.

A bed like that is called ‘een twijfelaar’ in our country.
I hope your voice is ready for action again.
Sound like an ad for perverted sex. The bed I mean, not the swimmingpool.
Deutschland über alles; but allow me to try to seduce you for a visit to my hometown Bruges (BRUGGE), by introducing my friend’s finest restaurant “Den Gouden Harynck” (1 Michelin star) www.dengoudenharynck.be to you, Mr. Grunberg. You will be served there as a crown prince, even if you do not use my name, with compliments. A pastime and a true delight.

hotels are shite everywhere
Hotels are shite in any place of the world. No place like home. Or at a friends place. Sleeping on the couch at your friends house is better than a hotel room. Airconditioning, having breakfast while others r watching, diner by yourself., dull television. It's all boring compared to the company of friends. No matter how many stars this hotel has or how big the swimmingpool is.
Hotels are shite anywhere. Airconditioning, having breakfast while others r watching, diner by yourself, dull music. No matter how big the swimmingpool is, hotels are boring. Sleeping on a friends couch is more pleasant than spending a night in a 5* hotel. In the comfort of someones company cooking, talking, sleeping, chilling is so much more enjoyable.
I hate 'twijfelaars' in bed.
swimming is like meditation. You repeat yourself over and over again so that your body gets tired after your mind does.
