Twenty

Axiote

Tonight was the Schwob evening in Amsterdam.
(What or who is Schwob? See here.)
The Greek author Christos Chrissopoulos pitched “My House” by Melpo Axiote. This novel has not been translated yet.
Some people in the audience liked Chrissopoulos’ pitch so much that they gave each twenty euros to make the translation possible. Since they believed that I had influence, alas flattering but I know the truth, they gave me their money.
So now I cannot stop.
I will make a modest attempt at crowd funding for Melpo Axiote.
If you want to see this novel translated in any major language, make a donation. If there’s no result within two years, you get your money back. Contact me at info@arnongrunberg.com.
