Last summer I went to Cairo to visit the mother of a Dutch-Egyptian actor. See: here. The plan was to write a play about his mother, and maybe also about my mother.
Tonight the play (“Our mothers”) premiered.
The mother is a doll. Sooner or later all our mothers become dolls.
