C'est moi

Garbage

Working with sheets is not without problems. I hate to say this -- but when it comes to making beds I suck.
There is hope though; this is only my second day.
And I love emptying garbage bins in the guest rooms.

(Flaubert apparently said: “Madame Bovary, c’est moi.” I would say: "La poubelle, c’est moi.")

Garbage is full of true stories.
Jan Thys
Are you suggesting that garbage never tells a lie?
I think garbage is a fact, but the interpretation can be true, false or in between. There is a lot to discover in garbage or am I mistaken?
No fun..
This morning, I stepped into my car and happily headed for Murnau. But guess what? So did 2 million other people in Europe. For a while the exhaust fumes got to me, making me hallucinate and think everyone in the world wanted to see Arnon as a chambermaid. The reality of whining children in cars beside me, next to me, in front of me informed me I had decided to travel on the wrong fucking day.
Now, I'm stuck in Esslingen-something-or-other, and there's no Arnon, no minibar, and creepy men in the bar. I'm going home tomorrow, even though the news warns me half of Germany is too. @Noa - was it you who said we should venture out of our comfort zones? I hate you (I saw your contradictory posting on reality only just now).
Welcome to the club, Arnon. I used to love it too, once having to fish through a room full of garbage looking for a guest lost item -braces of all things, among opera tickets, airplane tags, fancy stores receipts...Just living the dream, "par procuration". Enjoy it while it lasts!
Tess, I'm glad I didn't come with you although I am sure we would have formed a hell of a traveling team!
pfaffenkirchen
@ Tess: I'm waiting for you at the gas station in Pfaffenkirchen.
PS Did you receive my fax message?
To all
Keep in mind that my name here is Anton Morsink, don’t embarrass me by using my other name while being on the premises.
@Marieke, yes I did! But Maria hasn't showed up yet here in Hotel Marienhof, Dorfen. Or maybe I overlooked her?
@ Tess: Maria is a tall redhead and hard to overlook. I don't know what happened. She doesn't answer my calls.

PS I think I spotted our man!
I wanna be there!
