0-1
My visit to the American consulate in Amsterdam (for a renewal of my my O-1 visa) was more or less amusing.
The guard at the second door was as unfriendly as ever, the guard at the gate behaved decently and the consular officer, Mrs. Heidi, was charming and beautiful.
This is my last renewal of the O-1 visa; the next step is a green card and/or the US Army.

Next undercover mission: Arnon, President of the USA, Commander of the US Army!
Jan Thys
You know that the president of the US cannot be a naturalized citizen.
What do you have to say about the advice you offered to the biology teacher Johannes recently? That if he wants to become a US citizen fast and painless he should start working for Halliburton in Iraq. I think it’s doubtful if Halliburton has the power to provide its employees with citizenship. (

Are you a citizen of Belgium?
I know a young Polish guy, living in Switzerland who in the possession of a passport of Luxemburg. I'm jealous. Have you ever been to the city of Luxemburg?
@Arnon
- I did not know about the non possibility of presidency of a naturalised person.
- Concerning Johannes, his main goal was to gain a lot of money not so much citizenship, if I remember correctly.
- I have a Belgian identity card and I have visited the city Luxemburg a few times.
Arnon, are you collecting identity cards? or citizenship?
Arnon
I believe that a love letter would be in order. As for the dirndl skirt, she refuses to wear one unless you can find a dirndl skirt in black with a more modern design.
So how many time do you have left before your O-1 expires and the US will perhaps give you the opportunity to visit Afghanistan of Guantanamo in a different uniform?
@Arnon, will you have dinner with me in Le Hollandais?
ps: and we can both dress as a Bavarian waitress.
Maarten
I have some time left.
Noa
Le Hollandais is closed this week.
