"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement on Tuesday that Israel supports the establishment of an independent Kurdish state."

The irony won't be lost on the world. Netanyahu as the first head of state to support an independent Kurdistan.

So what does this mean?

Turkey is not that important as an ally to Israel anymore and Israel and the world are preparing for a postwar Syria and a postwar Iraq. Who is betting on significant border changes in the Middle East in the next ten years?
