Finally an intelligent movie about being married and being happy. Or not so happy:
Little Children by Todd Field.
One of the characters claims that Madame Bovary was a slut. According to the contemporary sexual values, of course she was a slut. But since the end of World War II the distinction between a slut and a gold digger is not that clear anymore.

Some people claim that Humbert Humbert had no idea about wrong or right, because he liked showing his little weapon to an under aged girl. Since George W. As our teacher once said: if you want to insult a girl, just call her a slut. (But why should i want to insult a girl? and what exactly is a slut? a girl whitout a veil?)
I heard this absurd notion that in The Netherlands girls like to be called "slut" and "bitch" is really popular.
The only way to insult, and really hurt a girl to the bone is saying that she's not special. It 'll even insult her if you're not her boyfriend. Remember that these wounds can't be fixed. So use it wisely.
