An army

Discipline

My godson and his parents picked us up at La Paz airport.
We live in an apartment hotel and it’s kind of cozy. We are now one big alternative family. I’m not sure if “alternative” is the operative word or “family”.
Nevertheless I decided to look for two excellent au pairs before I ever start thinking about children myself.
Discipline makes the troops more survivable, I read in a book about the Iraq war. The same can be said about authors.
And for discipline you need an army of au pairs.

You need an army of au pairs to celebrate too. Lighting the fireworks made my son cry, so I lit the rest of the explosives on my own. While my wife was garding the little boy indoors, the neighbours came by to check what idiot was making all that noise or concerned that the paint of their cars would be damaged. New Year here is not like anything in Holland.

Our little one , our mircale, our princess, our Laura. She is the one I am scared for, for she is the sacred one. But she wasn't the reason why I wrote the novel you, Arnon, don't seem to be interested in. What's wrong with some true and literary commitment regarding the ultimate underdog?

Once upon a time on the Balkan 'they' used to rape and murder little daughters in front of their parents eyes. After hearing these horrable facts something snapped, and I started with the book I had to selfpublish. I can name more then a few who did that. Hell yes, it's a harsh book, but hell again, it's a cruel world out there.

Maybe you should think twice before you decide to make children. I know from friends that finding one good au pair is already very difficult. I wish you luck if you want two!
